This is unrelated, but tonight we had to have our old cat put to sleep. We had her since I was 6. She was 18. She may have had some kind of a stroke, not sure. Woke up this morning and she'd lost the ability to use her back legs. I'm feeling the loss of her...
But, on a happier note, I'm also feeling motivated to focus on my work & switch gears somewhat- going to start a slightly larger painting (all paint?) on wood, as opposed to the pen and ink on paper I've been doing for what feels like an age, now. This'll be the one for Art in Motion.
One of my oldest friends is getting married tomorrow. I'm happy for her, and yet it's also somewhat of a strange feeling; someone I used to hang with every day, just drive around listening to music, or sit in her apartment and smoke cigarettes ...all thru highschool; it's like she symbolizes my adolescent phase, to me, I suppose...and this is a symbol of it's passing...

When I walked out of my house earlier this warm evening, toward dusk, the moon was full, low, and pink against a green-blue sky. Gorgeous.

Jose's got an account over on flickr as well.
My weekend was pretty same old same old. The single life is wearing on me a little I think. Know any cute single girls?
